El Nogalito Restaurant and Bar in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

At the end of an ancient and cheerful path penetrating the jungle, right in the back of the mountain which is bathed by a river, lies a refreshing and cozy retreat where we established El Nogalito, a typical Vallarta restaurant, almost 9 years ago.

We called it El Nogalito because it is located within the limits of a picturesque little village which has the same name, in honor of a tree which for many years has served as a reference point for its inhabitants, fishermen, farmers and nowadays for our clients and visitors.

You may enjoy various settings in our restaurant. On one hand the place, surrounded by abundant vegetation which is flavored with thousands of wild flowers, offers tranquility and invites to relax while listening to the flow of the river. On the other hand the exuberant jungle around us invites us to explore it and to discover the natural wonders while the adrenalin increases with every step we take. Our senses are invaded by the natural marvels and the place is a favorite among bird watchers.

All of us who work at El Nogalito are committed to offer quality in our food and beverages, always serving you readily and joyfully. Each one of our dishes is prepared with utmost hygiene by our staff of local cooks. Through our recipes they transmit the typical flavor of Vallarta, pleasing and satisfying to locals and visitors alike.

In our menu we offer a variety of international dishes and for more demanding palates we prepare original and exquisite recipes. F.e our "Coal-Grilled Shrimps" are jumbo shrimps prepared over charcoal and served with a side order of fresh vegetables and accompanied by our famous BBQ sauce.

While satisfying your palate and winning your heart, the surrounding river, vegetation and fauna will captivate your senses. Come and give us the opportunity to serve you. We will make sure that your stay will become one of your most pleasant memories of Puerto Vallarta .
