known here as “boliche” (say ‘Boe-Leech-Aye’)
is not a big Mexican pastime, but Puerto Vallarta's beautiful modern Brunswick bowling alley, the "Bowl-o-Rama", sadly closed a few years ago, and we've been without another way to drink beer ever since.
However, 6 brand new bowling lanes have been installed at Plaza Caracol. They're on the main level, toward the back of the mall between the pet store and McDonalds. It's not the same vibe as a true bowling alley (they don't even serve beer!), but it's a fun diversion and a good place to stay cool during hot days.
